Key Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Technician II or III certificate is required
- Previous paraprofessional experience in school settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with life skills or special education curricula strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively support young learners in K-5th grade
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in daily instructional activities and classroom management
- Support individual and small-group learning with a focus on life skills development
- Implement lesson plans and adaptations under teacher supervision
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Help with behavioral supports, mobility, and personal care as needed
- Track student progress and communicate observations to educational staff
