Camp Oak Attendant

The Camp Oak Attendant will be responsible for daily activities with children; as well as all other duties assigned by management. This person must have good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Job Functions
  • Ensure all parents fill out the registration form for their children correctly, containing the history of the child.
  • Create an inventory for all toys / equipment at the club.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and properly maintained.
  • Inform Assistant Activities / Camp Oak Supervisor for any need of additional toys or replacement of toys.
  • Ensure to follow daily, weekly and monthly activity schedules as instructed by the Camp Oak Supervisor.
  • Ensure all clubs' rules and regulations are enforced at all times.
  • Maintain club/display clean and tidy club/display at all times. Be fully aware of the club's facilities, timings, promotions and prices.
  • Help with daily operations of Kid's Programs, including but not limited to registration and lunch.
  • Must create daily children's activities prepping and assuring that crafts are ready for each day.
  • Assist with special Holiday activities and other resort family or group activities.
Essential
  • Must enjoy working with children.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Must be able to stay outdoors in heat/cold for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Possess a positive, outgoing and friendly Personality.
  • Ability to follow the OVI standards of Presentation.
  • Ability to follow the OVI standards of Body Language.
  • Ability to follow the OVI standards of Verbiage.
  • Ability to work cohesively with other employees as part of a team.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with parents and children, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Legal ability to work in the US
  • High school graduate.
  • Ability to do basic arithmetic.
  • Ability to provide legible written communication.
  • Ability to work a flexible workweek including weekends and holidays.
Desirable
  • At least one year experience working with children.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Previous guest relations training.
