Schedule: Monday – Friday | 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM Occasional Saturdays as needed Local Routes | Home Daily

Position Overview:

Our transportation team plays a critical role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently. We are seeking a dependable, safety-driven CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to support veneer hauling operations. This position offers consistent local routes, so you can be home daily, along with steady hours and competitive pay. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a flatbed truck to transport veneer and related materials between facilities and job sites
  • Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer
  • Safely secure loads using straps and other tie-down methods in compliance with company and DOT requirements
  • Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations at all times
  • Maintain accurate and legible daily logs and required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members
  • Take proper care of company vehicles and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL (Required)
  • Current DOT Medical Card (Required)
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement (Required)
  • Clean and safe driving record (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (Preferred)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent throwing and securing of straps throughout the shift
  • Ability to climb on and off equipment and trailers safely
