Description
West Central Behavioral Health Clinic in Bismarck, North Dakota is looking for a Front Desk Administrative Assistant.
Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a part of the West Central Behavioral Health Clinic, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective and people recover.
As our Administrative Assistant, you will help create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who walks through our doors. You will manage the lobby by greeting visitors, helping them find where they need to go, and answering phone calls. You will also use the paging system for announcements and codes. You will handle daily tasks such as entering and checking client data, keeping the office organized, and scheduling conference rooms. Each day, you will help keep things running smoothly while leading with light by bringing calm, clarity, and respect to every interaction.
This role requires strong thinking and problem-solving skills, especially during urgent situations. You will need to quickly understand what is happening, decide what needs attention first, and stay calm under pressure. You will gather key information, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and take the right steps to help keep people safe and operations running.
To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience in performing a variety of complex office support, clerical, or secretarial duties.
If you have additional education in office support or business, it may replace the required work experience, with one year of education counting as one year of experience.
Location
ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position is located on site in Bismarck, North Dakota.
