Summary

As a Nursing Home Administrator at Cedar Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will oversee the daily operations of our nursing home facilities. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a compassionate environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

This position comes with a starting negotiable salary of $100,000.00 annually

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Start and end times are flexible based on community need. This position is a part of the community management team and will take part in the manager on duty weekend coverage rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and service.
  • Lead and supervise staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and professional development.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety.
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations regarding healthcare practices.
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Foster relationships with residents, families, and the community to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Currently a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Ohio
  • Proven experience in healthcare management or as a nursing home administrator is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Knowledge of dementia care practices and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial resources efficiently.
