Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA) and practices for medical software development (IEC 62304). ISTQB certification or similar quality assurance certifications is a plus. Required skills to have for the success of this role: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on application software and hardware systems. Strong understanding of communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN, and UART. Familiarity with working on real-time operating systems (RTOS), Windows OS, and Linux OS environment Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for automation testing. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
