Marana Health is seeking a Chief Growth Officer to join the Executive team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ.

Responsible for leading the organization’s growth strategy, including service line expansion. Works in collaboration with executive leadership to identify, develop, and implement initiatives that increase access, improve financial performance, and support long term sustainability.

Marana Health is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), with 11 sites in Tucson and Pima County. Our mission is to improve our community by providing exceptional, whole-person healthcare.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, strategy, operations, or business development
  • Experience developing and implementing growth strategies or strategic initiatives
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety
  • Current Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MH)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related field)
  • Experience leading larger, organization-wide initiatives
  • Experience in value-based care and payer contracting
  • Experience in an FQHC or similar healthcare setting

Supervisory Responsibilities

Director/Executive: Manages and monitors work performance of a division or department through direct reports and their teams, including evaluating work objectives and effectiveness, establishing broad organizational goals, and provisioning work and staffing assignments for the department.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, internal teams, and external partners
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to direct, delegate, and build high-performing teams
  • Ability to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Expands access to care for Marana Health, and aligns growth with community need and mission impact.
  • Leads efforts for service line expansion, partnerships, geographic expansion, and strategy.
  • Advances organizational strategy through intentional growth and service line development.
  • Owns how the Marana Health system expands and sustains through strategic, mission-aligned growth.
  • Leads the development and execution of organizational growth strategies and expansion initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth, service line expasion, and operational improvement in partnership with executive leadrship.
  • Partners with analytics and operational teams to leverage data and insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Evaluates organizational strengths and gaps to support growth and financial sustainability.
  • Monitors market trends and industry changes and incorporates findings into strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with leadership to align growth initiatives with operational capacity and organizational goals.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support growth initiatives.
  • Leads strategic initiatives and ensures appropriate resource and budget alignment.
  • Supports development of communication strategies to gain alignment and support for key initiatives.
  • Provides regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
