Position: Janitor

Location: Hawaii Kai, HI

Pay: $16/hour

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Janitor to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description:

1. Clean assigned areas and report any safety hazards to the manager.
2. Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors, including beneath furniture, and remove carpet spots.
3. Empty trash cans regularly.
4. Wipe down and dust countertops, furniture, and surfaces.
5. Clean and touch up walls and baseboards as needed.
6. Thoroughly clean kitchens, including sinks, microwaves, stovetops, refrigerators, and counters.
7. Clean bathrooms, ensuring mirrors, sinks, counters, showers, tubs, and toilets are sanitized.

Position Requirements:

1. Enjoys cleaning and takes pride in maintaining a clean environment.
2. Must be comfortable using personal protective equipment (PPE), hand tools, disinfectants, and cleaning products.
3. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
4. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Able to pass background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings, including drug testing.
6. Capable of lifting 15 pounds or more and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
