1st Shift Furniture Assembler

Job Description

We are hiring dependable and hardworking individuals for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate position focused on assembling outdoor benches made from recycled plastic materials. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to contribute to environmentally sustainable products.
1st Shift assemblers will be working Monday- Thursday, 6:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and Fridays as needed for overtime. Starting pay is $17/hr. with long term employment and growth opportunities. All PPE provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble outdoor benches using recycled plastic components according to work instructions
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and defects
• Follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly output goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing benches for shipment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in furniture or product assembly
• Familiarity with production line environments
• Basic mechanical aptitude
