SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

AS NEEDED BASIS

DAYS WORKED: On - Call

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED highly preferred.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass a Washington State Patrol and FBI background check.
• Valid bus driver's license WITH CDL with passenger endorsement and meet all the qualifications for acquiring an OSPI Type 1 School Bus Driver's Authorization as required in WAC 392-144 (copy available upon request).
• Valid First Aid Card.
• Satisfactory completion of the "Physical Examination of Commercial Drivers" (DLE-520-061).
• Knowledge and practice of safe driving practices.
• Knowledge and practice of effective student management skills.
• Good driving record.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and days when needed - as in schedule changes for schools.
• Must have working home/cell phone.

RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Hourly Rate: $26.18 -$29.99 per hour (Depending on Certification & Experience)
