POSITION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION: Professionally cleans all Guest room accommodations to allow the guest the maximum satisfaction during their stay.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Make up and re-supply rooms in accordance with established standards of cleanliness and quality.
2. Ensures all necessary supplies are maintained at proper par levels.
3. Maintains assigned storage area.
4. Maintains all pertinent equipment.
5. Ensures all guest contact is handled in a friendly and efficient manner.
6. Responds to guest inquiries in a timely, expedient manner.
7. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
8. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
9. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
10. Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
11. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
12. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Knowledge of all cleaning chemicals used.

2. Knowledge of assigned cleaning equipment.

3. Dependable, honest and trustworthy.

4. Must have a good attendance record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Physically capable of pushing, bending, standing and walking for long periods of time.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
3. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Education Required: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: No prior experience necessary

Computer Skills: No computer skills required.

Certificates & Licenses: Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
