Position Description
Operates 5,500 gallon Tanker Truck hauling non-flammable but heated liquid asphalt (AC). Reports to distributor who loads product via pump and hose. Drives interstate to asphalt plant to offload AC into plant designated tanks. Drivers unload tanker via pump and hose.

Responsibilities -
- Drives Tanker Truck in a safe manor according to state Highway laws.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and order preventative maintenance on trailer and truck while maintaining accurate records of any possible issues.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures a s guideline for operating and maintaining vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Requirements-
- Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must have 2 yrs. Tractor Trailer Experience
- Must have valid CDL A with HAZMAT/TANKER Endorsements
- Must have min. 1 year Tanker Experience
- Must have TWIC Card or willing to obtain
- No more than 3 Preventable Minor Accidents or minor moving violations within the last 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable crashes within the last 3 years
- No major traffic violations
- Must be physically able to climb, pull, lift, bend, and stoop.
- Ability to follow all verbal instructions
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for fellow employees and the traveling public
- Able to work long hours with some weekends.
All Pre Employment and employment duration testing i.e., Drug testing, Clearinghouse Reports, Criminal Background, and Motor Vehicle Report will apply.
