The ideal candidate will be on-site in Johnston, IA, but open to a remote location for the right candidate.
Your Responsibilities
As an Accountant for John Deere Financial located in Johnston, IA, you will:
- Be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial results related to the JDF Portfolio's Credit Losses by partnering closely with finance, risk, and reporting teams
- Drive execution of and provide business counseling for the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) processes and results
- Prepare documentation to support internal controls, audits, management and regulatory reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and support monthly and quarterly close processes
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, documentation, and efficiency

- Knowledge of US GAAP requirements
- Experience with internal controls
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team environment

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
