Flexible, part-time schedule with potential to grow into a full-time role Opportunity to grow into a larger role and cross-train in operations Relaxed, people-first culture with intentional leadership Ability to make a real impact in a small, growing company Schedule: Approximately 10 – 15 hours per week Minimal in-office requirement (approximately 2 times per month) Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00/hour Location: Elbert, Colorado Duration: Temporary with potential for permanent hire Requirements: 5–8+ years of accounting or full-cycle bookkeeping experience Experience with month-end close processes Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills Working knowledge of GAAP Highly detail-oriented and organized Ability to work independently and manage priorities Staff Accountant Duties: Support and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure financial accuracy Manage accounts receivable (billing, invoicing, collections follow-up) Process accounts payable, including vendor management and bill entry Perform bill-to-PO matching and assist with disbursements Prepare financial reports and assist with cash flow tracking Maintain accurate records across multiple systems Identify and support process improvements within accounting workflows
