Join a dynamic finance team as a Senior Accountant, managing daily accounting functions including cost and general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and receivable. This role is essential for maintaining the general ledger, tracking assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and financial reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and statements.
  • Reconcile and adjust bank accounts to ensure effective cash flow management.
  • Develop, interpret, and implement accounting programs, policies, and procedures to maintain a robust accounting system.
  • Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Maintain professional communication and relationships with team members, contractors, physicians, outside agencies, and the public.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Economics, or Finance required.
  • Two or more years of finance or accounting experience.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) and healthcare or hospital experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent computer proficiency.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead process improvements.

Physical Requirements: This is primarily sedentary work with occasional exertion of up to 10 lbs and less than 10% of the day spent standing or walking. Accommodations can be made as needed.
