Accounting Administrator
SERVPRO of Stockton & Livermore is an Emergency Restoration Company that provides services to all who suffer damages due to water, fire, and mold. We are searching for an Experienced Accounting Administrator to join our team. As this position involves extensive confidence and collaboration, there must be a balance between anonymity and participation with department heads. As an Accounting Administrator you will be a part of a team of quality people who focus on excellent service, fairness, and mutual respect. Our SERVPRO company owns 8 local franchises and is one of the top SERVPRO franchises in California with a focus on territory optimization and expansion. We are also a large loss franchise able to complete any size restoration project from start to finish, which necessitates a strong financial understanding.
The purpose of the Accounting Administrator is to ensure that budgeting and cost control is understood and maintained throughout all departments. Evaluation of performance through analyzing and interpreting key performance metrics (KPMs), consolidating financial data, establishing schedules, and maximizing ROI of assets and investments are just a few key responsibilities that this role will undertake. You will work directly with the CEO and SVP to provide monthly reporting and to develop and guide financial decisions while enforcing policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions. The Controller duties and responsibilities of the job include overseeing the accounting department, working with the executive management team to develop an annual budget, determining and assigning quarterly objectives based on annual budget and holding managers accountable, defining, revising, and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines, establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, preparing, improving, and issuing monthly financial statements for executive management, protecting assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls, participating in influencing business growth, direction, strategic planning, and financial forecasting, maintaining accounting department results by training, coaching, disciplining employees, proactively escalating issues as needed, and performing account reconciliations as needed.

Necessary experience and skill set includes a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field/experience, at least 5 years of overall business experience in the finance field, experience with data analysis, forecasting methods, strategic planning, and business development, proven experience in an executive role, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year.
