Accounting Clerk – Accounts Payable

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a leading manufacturer of aluminum frame windows and high-quality tempered glass products is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk - Accounts Payable team member to assist in their accounting department.

Accounting Clerk - Accounts Payable Overview:

In this role, you will perform data entry, maintain accurate records, and perform accounts payable (AP) transactions. Prepares reports for management and vendors as needed. This role will be required to maintain a high attention to detail and process data in a prompt and accurate manner with minimal supervision.

• Hours: 8am - 4pm
• Pay: $19/hr

Job Duties:

• Print, review, match, code, and process AP invoices daily
• Review vendor statements
• Resolve invoicing discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Help to ensure that all corporate and required accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the division
• Any other duties required by management

Job Requirements

• Ability to set rapport with cross-functional teams, departments, and peers by demonstrating a professional and positive work ethic
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and detail oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Perform other duties assigned with full accountability
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to organize and maintain paperwork
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
• Sets priorities in an efficient manner and optimizes time and resources to achieve desired results
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Strong data entry skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Strong Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI) - Syteline
• Experience in Accounts Payable in a manufacturing company
