Accounting Internship
The Accounting Internship is designed to provide a well-rounded, hands-on business experience within a dynamic, multi-entity corporate environment. The intern will contribute to value-added activities while applying foundational accounting knowledge in a professional setting. In addition to gaining practical accounting experience, the intern will develop a working understanding of our cross-entity operations. The intern will work closely with our Controller and Accounting Team, providing support across a variety of tasks, duties, and projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, monthly closings, and the preparation of financial statements.
- Support data entry, account reviews, general ledger reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
- Help document Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) to support process standardization and knowledge transfer.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with account tie-outs.
- Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Provide support on special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
Education: Actively pursuing or recently completed a master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Coursework: Completion of higher-level accounting or finance coursework prior to the start of the internship.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills required; solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately track, manage, and reconcile data.
Analytical Thinking: Capable of resolving variances, troubleshooting discrepancies, and navigating complex accounting scenarios.
Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
