Accounting Specialist

Schedule: Full-time | 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Our team is seeking a seasoned Accounting Professional to join our fast-paced, growing office. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a startup-like environment where priorities can shift quickly.

The ideal candidate can work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team, maintains professionalism at all times, and thrives in a busy office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Heavy data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing
• Payroll processing
• Credit card and expense management using Expensify
• Daily use of QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel
• General office and accounting support using Outlook and Word
• Adapt to changing responsibilities and workflows as office duties evolve

Required Qualifications

• Strong accounting background with hands-on AR/AP experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel
• Experience with payroll and expense management systems
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and communicative
• No attendance issues - punctuality is critical

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with NetSuite (company anticipates transitioning in the future)
