Accounts Payable Specialist

Role: Accounts Payable Specialist:

Location: Northbrook, IL

Pay: $27 - $29 / HOUR

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision

• Enter and process invoices in SAP ERP system, handling 400+ invoices per week
• Review, analyze, and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal teams and external vendors
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account details
• Review and process credit memos within established guidelines
• Research and resolve duplicate invoice issues
• Create and maintain vendor records, including new vendor setup and changes
• Ensure compliance with accounting controls by reviewing approvals and expenditures
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including cutoff and invoice accruals
• Review and submit invoices through SAP Validation client, ensuring data accuracy
• Operate effectively in a paperless, high-volume environment
• Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned
