Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Warrington, PA (Onsite)

Pay: $23.00 / Hour

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About Our Client

Addison Group is partnering with a long-established manufacturing and distribution company seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, review, and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper matching with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and pricing variances by collaborating with internal departments.
  • Enter invoices and receipts into the accounting system (Sage 100 or similar ERP).
  • Prepare weekly and manual check runs, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate disbursement records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and maintain up-to-date AP records.
  • Support month-end close by verifying all invoices are processed, including non-inventory and freight charges.
  • Assist with maintaining purchase order and inventory records.
  • Provide backup support for data entry, phone coverage, and other accounting functions as needed.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and documentation preparation.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (experience with Sage 100 a plus) and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment.
