ACS Warranty Representative
Location: Orlando, FL 32810
Position Overview
The ACS Warranty Representative serves as a vital link between the company and its field partners, overseeing the full lifecycle of warranty claims and parts procurement. This role is responsible for managing product returns and providing accurate parts quotes to representatives to ensure seamless after-sales support. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional capable of balancing high-volume processing with exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Claim Management: Monitor and process warranty claims and labor allowances, ensuring all submissions meet company guidelines and financial standards.
- Return Goods Coordination: Coordinate the return of goods, tracking shipments and ensuring that returned inventory is processed and documented correctly.
- Field Support: Act as the primary point of contact for field representatives by providing timely and accurate price quotes for replacement parts and components.
- Order Processing: Perform necessary research and process customer orders as required to support after-sales needs.
- Data Integrity: Maintain high levels of accuracy in claim processing to minimize discrepancies and foster strong relationships with sales representatives.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Foster teamwork and assist in developing or mentoring others within the department.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean work environment and perform all duties following company safety processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Associate's degree or 3-5 years of customer service experience in an office environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Technical Skills: High level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Access.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical or warranty information clearly and professionally.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, track pending claims, and maintain meticulous records.
- Aptitude: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Activity: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine.
- Physicality: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time based on business needs.
- Reliability: Ability to follow the work schedule and understand all safety directions.
- Environment: Primary work is performed in a professional office setting with frequent interaction with sales reps and internal departments.
