2nd Adventure Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Executive Office) to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO and C-Team. As the shared services company supporting brands like Brownells, Crow Wholesale, AR15.COM, and other 2nd Adventure businesses, we play a critical role in helping our teams serve customers, strengthen operations, and continue growing.

This role is ideal for someone who brings strong organization, polished communication, sound judgment, and the ability to stay calm and composed in a dynamic environment. As the Administrative Assistant (Executive Office), you will help manage executive calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare materials, support travel and event logistics, maintain key files and documents, and ensure important follow-up items stay on track.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and optimize executive calendars, schedules, meeting logistics, and follow-up items
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agendas, materials, technology needs, and documentation
  • Plan and manage travel arrangements, lodging, transportation, registrations, and schedule changes
  • Prepare briefing documents, summaries, talking points, presentations, and other executive materials as needed
  • Maintain organized executive files, documents, meeting materials, and shared resources
  • Support key company events, internal offsites, board touchpoints, and department meetings
  • Represent the executive office with professionalism, courtesy, confidentiality, and alignment to company values

What You'll Bring

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in administrative, executive support, office coordination, or related work
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
  • A proactive, composed, relationship-centered approach to supporting leaders and teams

An associate or bachelor's degree and experience with project management, task management, or collaboration tools are helpful, but not required.

Work Location, Schedule & Pay

This is a full-time, primarily onsite role in Grinnell, Iowa, with flexibility for occasional remote work based on executive schedules and business needs. The schedule is generally standard business hours, with occasional flexibility needed during company events or executive travel. This is an hourly, nonexempt position with a starting wage range of $24.00 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
