Key Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting and signing-in visitors, answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments, mailroom administration and maintaining the coffee room. This role also provides broad administrative support to the organization, including preparing reports, correspondence, internal communications, and OptiSigns postings, scheduling meetings, and assisting with general office coordination. This role also provides support to Human Resources with company mailers, event planning, uniform ordering, vending service liaison, onboarding support, employee communications, file maintenance, and various other administrative duties. This position performs work under general supervision and handles moderately complex issues and problems.

Requirements

Education and Experience

Minimum of a high school diploma
2 to 4 years of administrative, receptionist, office support, or related experience preferred

Technical Competencies:

Proficient Computer Skills - Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
Work in an office setting - The job will require the person to be in the office and will not support a work from home arrangement
Demonstrated ability to be Discreet and Handle Confidential Information - This person will see or have access to a lot of sensitive business and employee information
Excellent Communication Skills - Both verbal and written
Ability to Prepare Reports and Internal Communications - Creates and formats routine reports, correspondence, employee communications, and OptiSigns postings with accuracy and professionalism
Solid Working Knowledge of Administrative Support Duties - Performs a broad range of administrative and staff support responsibilities across the organization
