Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 6+ month consulting position with a Fortune 500 company in Northern New Jersey. This position offers full benefits and we are seeking someone with a high level of professionalism who will be managing the front desk / reception area for a financial services office.

Duties include:

  • Answer phones and route calls; provide information to clients; refer questions and issues to appropriate staff for further information and problem resolution
  • Schedule appointments for client meetings as well as follow-up calls and written confirmations
  • Process mail and incoming correspondence in accordance with compliance and document routing procedures
  • Make routine travel arrangements and complete expense reports
  • Order and maintain office supplies and marketing materials
  • Schedule and set-up internal meetings/conference calls/catering as required
  • Serve as liaison for office facilities and maintenance issues (ordering supplies, broken printer, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Financial services, insurance, or real estate industry experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite
  • One plus years experience in an administrative role
