Part-Time School Administrative Assistant

Our Lady Star of the Sea School is in search of a part-time School Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, passion for working with children, and is proficient with technology. The responsibilities of this job encompass regular communication with parents and visitors, maintaining the school calendar, interfacing with contracted equipment vendors, tracking health records and screenings, utilizing FACTS Student Management for student records, schedules, attendance, report cards, and support for student enrollment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with student health needs during school day, as well as supporting the principal and staff with other administrative needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is necessary. Candidates need to be computer efficient, skilled in Excel and Word, Google platform, and willing to become efficient in FACTS Management. Hourly Position - Hours will be self-maintained on the PayCor system and evaluated by the principal. Work hours will be discussed during the interview. Note that additional hours may include but not limited to: Back to School Night, Open House, Parent Teacher Conferences
