Operations Administrative Assistant
The Operations Administrative Assistant provides direct administrative and clerical support to the Operations management team in support of the hourly manufacturing workforce. This position is instrumental in the timely processing of production related information and data and influences accurate and credible decision making within the production management leadership team. This position may also coordinate and plan appointments and travel schedules for operations management.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Support Operation Supervisors with administrative needs. Track hourly employee time and attendance, vacation, floating holidays, peruns and other business information. Manage the attendance points system and notify supervisor of employee attendance issues Track employees ending probationary period and the hourly performance employee review schedule (6-months and annuals). Assist in organizing and maintaining Safety and JOBS training records. Support Safety Audits with documentation and follow-up. Organize and maintain department meetings and follow-up actions. Accumulate and sort data of production information for analysis in support of our Continuous Improvement system, business reviews and other employee communications. Coordinate schedules of the Operation Team, as well as inside & outside training activities. Produce professional documents and reports to support daily, weekly and monthly metrics. Support HR audit processes. Organize and maintain quality and production records for internal/external ISO audits
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must exercise considerable initiative and enjoy working independently. Must always demonstrate confidentiality. Must be discreet in dealing with information regarding compensation. Must be tactful and professional in manner and verbal communication. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kronos UKG and experience with MRP systems. Self-starter with ability to follow through on projects and assignments. Good organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment. Ability to coordinate multiple communications between departments. Maintain productivity in fast-paced environment while determining project priorities. Positive can-do attitude focused on meeting deadlines with professional quality. Willingness to grow and learn
Education And Experience
Required Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 1--2 years administrative/manufacturing support experience in a fast-paced environment Preferred Education / Experience Associate's degree in business related field 3-5 years administrative/manufacturing support experience in a fast-paced environment
