Description
This role offers vital support to clients seeking mental health services by delivering exceptional customer service with warmth and professionalism. You will assist individuals of all ages in navigating access to mental health care and community resources across the Midwest region.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and reschedule appointments including intakes, crisis screenings, medication evaluations, psychological testing, and competency evaluations with qualified clinical staff.
- Manage incoming referrals both by phone and in person, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and update walk-in clinic referral lists and waiting lists for clinical and medical staff, efficiently filling cancellations from waiting lists.
- Track access data and service volumes through database management to support outcome monitoring.
- Collect payments, handle cash transactions, and balance cash drawer accurately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth operations.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. General office experience and prior customer service background are essential. Preferred candidates will have three to five years of medical front office experience and computer training, including proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
