About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a global leader in commercial hygiene, chemical solutions, and service-based technologies to hire an Area Service Coordinator. This fully remote role supports a large field service organization serving customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. The Area Service Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by efficiently dispatching and supporting a high-volume field technician workforce. Job Description
In this role, you will act as a central point of coordination for service delivery, supporting more than 300 field associates through effective scheduling, dispatching, and real-time problem solving. Reporting to Service Operations leadership, you will help optimize technician productivity while ensuring customer service commitments are met. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in an operational and service-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and managing a high volume of incoming service requests.
- Dispatching service technicians using a centralized dispatch queue, ensuring timely and accurate service appointments.
- Creating and maintaining technician schedules to ensure optimal coverage and responsiveness.
- Adjusting schedules in real time based on changing customer needs and service priorities.
- Optimizing technician availability, workload balance, and accountability.
- Partnering with field teams and area leadership to support retention, growth, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges to improve field effectiveness and service outcomes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in customer service, call center operations, sales support, dispatching, or a related field (relevant military experience accepted).
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
- Experience working in a call center or high-volume service environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work night and weekend shifts, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts).
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (immigration sponsorship is not available for this role).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or trade school certification.
- Dispatching or route coordination experience.
- Experience organizing or coordinating meetings or operational schedules.
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience supporting service operations in industries such as foodservice, hospitality, housekeeping, laundry, pool and spa, or related service-based environments.
