Ashtabula HNU Operations
The Ashtabula HNU Operations role supports safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing by operating and maintaining production processes within established standards. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational reliability through equipment monitoring, data collection, and adherence to procedures. Operators contribute to continuous improvement by proactively identifying issues, supporting process changes, and promoting a strong safety culture. The role requires hands-on execution, attention to detail, and collaboration within production teams.
$26.33 - $29.44

Key responsibilities include:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned production equipment in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements
- Adjust operating conditions within defined limits to meet performance, quality, and throughput standards
- Collect, document, and verify process data, samples, and observations as required by operating instructions
- Identify, report, and escalate equipment, process, safety, or environmental issues in a timely manner
- Perform general production and area support tasks, including equipment cleaning, material handling, and team participation
Required qualifications include:
- 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial operations environment
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50–75 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods
- Ability to follow written procedures, batch sheets, and safety requirements with consistency and accuracy
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience operating process or chemical manufacturing equipment
- Forklift or pallet jack operating experience or certification
- Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment cleaning, teardown, or troubleshooting
- Experience working 12-hour shifts or rotating schedules in a production environment
