Job Opportunity

The starting wage for this position will be between $43 and $49 per hour, depending on experience. Night shift: various start times.

This position will assist the supervisor/manager in accomplishing department goals by maintaining an even workflow and minimal downtime by providing guidance and training to associates. Assignments for this position will come from the supervisor/manager. You must assess the situations and make decisions based on set guidelines and maintenance experience. Critical contacts for this position are the associates, supervisors, managers, and other department leads and supervisors, so you must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively. This position directly supervises 5-10 employees in the ASRS Maintenance Department.

Essential Duties:

  • Interviewing, training, and monitoring employees through appraising performance and rewarding employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Assisting in the performance review process
  • Aiding supervisor in the assignments of daily work orders and P.M. schedules
  • Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations
  • Initiating or suggesting plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
  • Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Fluency in English; speak, read, and write
  • Five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches
