Assembler

Assemblers are responsible for working off a material list to gather correct materials, using blueprints and assembly drawings to correctly assemble products, picking and packing supplies, and performing repair operations. This role operates in a fast-paced environment where candidates will gather materials, assemble products, and conduct tests and inspections across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Work across three sections on the assembly line, including retrieving products from the conveyor belt and inserting or adjusting linings within the product.
• Assemble handles and pins, and insert them onto products.
• Insert foam into products, package them, and prepare for shipment.
• Rotate between different sections to ensure a non-repetitive workday.
• Gather proper materials to set up an assembly off of a conveyor.
• Use tools, review prints, and measure with a tape measurer.
• Ensure specifications are followed and perform tests on products.

Essential Skills

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work in a collaborative setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Trade school experience.
• Automotive experience.
• Assembly experience.
• Blueprint reading.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Deerfield, MA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
