Job Summary

W e are seeking a skilled Assembler to safely disassemble, assemble, and test drilling equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Job Description

  • Perform assembly and disassembly tasks with minimal supervision
  • Clean, deburr, drill, and tap parts to ensure proper fit and function
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and routings
  • Use SAP R3 system to review work orders, labor tracking, and material bills
  • Follow defined assembly procedures based on specifications
  • Assist with rigging tasks when required
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
  • Support production goals while ensuring equipment and personnel safety
  • Work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays when required
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Skills Required

  • Minimum 1+ year experience with drilling equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Required certifications (or ability to obtain): Fall Protection, Overhead Crane, Forklift (from recognized certification provider)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs (two-handed)
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights
  • Good balance on uneven surfaces
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color recognition required
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions including heat, cold, noise, and confined spaces

Education

  • Required: High school diploma or GED

Additional requirements

  • Schedule notes: 4 x 12 hr shift - 1 weekend every other week - rare situations where overnight is required and there is a shift differential for $2/hr for these instances
  • Steel-toe lace-up boots (mandatory)
  • Safety glasses (provided)
  • Hard hat and hearing protection as required

Pay rate

  • $19 - $22 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
