Job Title: Assembly Associate - Lighting Products

Position Summary:
The Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling lighting fixtures and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and maintaining quality standards to ensure safe and functional lighting products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble lighting fixtures, housings, and components according to work instructions
• Perform basic wiring of LED components, drivers, and connectors
• Use hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, crimpers)
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow diagrams, blueprints, and production travelers
• Package finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S standards)
• Report defects, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards

Qualifications:

• 6+ months of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with electrical or LED assembly
• Familiarity with wiring, crimping, and connectors
• Understanding of basic quality control processes

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/warehouse setting
• Repetitive tasks and fast-paced production line
• May require PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
