Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical Assembly Technician
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to perform a variety of complex assembly and troubleshooting tasks. This role is responsible for building high-quality products, conducting testing, and preparing finished goods for shipment to customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies and consistently practice safe work habits
- Assemble complex electrical and mechanical systems using detailed drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete assemblies
- Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, drilling, and punching as needed
- Set up and conduct functional testing of assemblies
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
- Complete and document quality inspections and testing
- Meet production schedules by organizing and completing tasks efficiently
- Handle materials and prepare products for shipment, including packaging and crating
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment upkeep
- Accurately record time and materials for production reporting
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- Assist with cross-training and support less experienced team members
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in complex electrical and mechanical assembly
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows systems
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work overtime on Fridays as needed
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs multiple times per day and perform physical job duties
