Shift: 2nd Shift (3:24 PM - 11:54 PM)
Pay Rate: $17.70/hour (Weekly Pay)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (for the right candidate)

Adecco is currently hiring an Associate Material Handler for a leading medical device manufacturer in Largo, FL. This is an excellent entry-level warehouse opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.
Position Overview

The Associate Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, and shipping materials (raw materials and finished goods). This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient material flow throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities

• Pick, package, and ship orders from inventory
• Receive and distribute materials to production and other departments
• Process incoming purchase receipts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Organize materials to improve efficiency while following warehouse procedures
• Transport materials between buildings as needed
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts
• Replenish primary inventory locations
• Operate forklifts, man-up order pickers, and other material handling equipment (must be comfortable working at heights)
• Support mailroom operations, including incoming/outgoing mail processing and internal deliveries
• Maintain 6S standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Train other employees as needed
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

General Expectations

• Ability to rotate through multiple warehouse functions within a team environment
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Willingness to work scheduled overtime as required
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive, high-performance mindset and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Strong mathematical skills (ability to calculate weights, counts, shipping details, etc.)
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to safely handle materials, including hazardous substances, following all procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day

Pay Details: $17.70 per hour
