Introduction Our client is a hospital that is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join their thriving practice. The hospital sees cats and dogs and is hiring for a Veterinarian position. All levels of experience will be considered, and the ideal candidate will be friendly, personable, and a team player. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while remaining closed on Sundays. Role Description and Responsibilities The role involves examining animals to assess their health and diagnose problems, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating medical equipment such as x-ray machines, advising owners about general care, conditions, and treatments, prescribing medication, and working closely with team members to provide high-quality care. The role is open to all levels of experience. Practice Details The hospital is committed to delivering high-quality, progressive, and individualized medical care with access to cutting-edge medical and diagnostic capabilities. The practice is AAHA accredited and offers preventative services, dentistry including oral exams, teeth cleanings, and extractions, surgical services, diagnostics, laboratory services, microchipping, end-of-life care, nutrition support, and an in-house pharmacy. The caseload is focused on comprehensive care for cats and dogs in a collaborative environment that values exceptional patient care. The hospital has been serving the Cochranton community since 1978 and prioritizes staying up to date on modern medicine. Team The hospital has 2 DVMs and 8 support staff. The team is described as friendly, team-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining an enjoyable work-life balance in a professional and supportive environment.
