Description
Vice President, Asset Backed Securities Structuring
What is the opportunity? Vice President, Asset Backed Securities Structuring What will you do?
Develop and utilize existing models to structure term ABS transactions across all asset classes, interact with the rating agencies to obtain ratings for transactions, tie-out structures with accountants, review and provide feedback on the transaction documents, support the deal marketing process by discussing and educating salesforce.
Provide analytical support and structural proposals for pitch books/presentations/RFPs and maintain and enhance our internal modeling tools.
Assist in asset valuations and trade analyses for both securitization purposes as well as other business opportunities.
Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly.
What do you need to succeed?
4 plus years of Asset Backed Securities or related experience
Familiarity with both Term and Conduit ABS products including Non-Traditional Asset Classes
Bachelor's degree with history of strong academic performance
Series 7, 63 & 79 licenses
Previous transaction execution experience across various asset classes
Self-starter that functions well in fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Solution oriented approach to issues and strong problem-solving skills
Strong programming, excel spreadsheet and some PowerPoint skills
Fluency in ABS documents and related criteria
Fluency in excel with VBA code, Intex and CAS

The expected salary for this particular position is $165,000-$225,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
