The seasonal park maintenance position will be responsible for assisting maintenance staff with all aspects of maintaining the park grounds and its facilities. This will include, but not be limited to, mowing grass, weeding and mulching landscape beds, pruning/trimming, picking up and removing trash, cleaning restrooms, the cleaning and repair of structures, and participation in projects involving carpentry, and welding work. The employee will be required to work outside, around water and boats, in extreme weather conditions, and in areas involving heights. Work is performed indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions. Some duties may vary for each facility. This position is required to operate light duty equipment such as trucks, tractors, mowers and other lawn equipment. Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled.
