Bilingual Team Lead – Truss Assembly

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bilingual Team Lead to oversee daily operations within the truss assembly department. This role will support production by leading a team of truss assemblers while also serving as a key communication bridge between English- and Spanish-speaking employees. The ideal candidate will assist with onboarding, training, and ensuring all team members understand safety procedures and production expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of truss assemblers to meet daily production goals
• Provide hands-on training to new hires, including onboarding and orientation support
• Translate and communicate instructions, safety protocols, and training materials in both English and Spanish
• Assist in developing and delivering training content, including videos and job-specific instructions
• Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with company standards
• Support a safe work environment by reinforcing safety procedures and best practices
• Coordinate with management on staffing needs, performance, and workflow improvements
• Step in to assist with assembly as needed

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Previous experience in truss assembly, construction, or a related manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or production instructions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive movements
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
