Description
Bingo Cashier
Under general supervision, the Bingo Cashier assists guests selling both paper and electronic bingo buy-ins and other bingo supplies.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and monitors all assigned funds for each shift.
- Sells Bingo buy-ins (both paper and electronic) to the Bingo players prior to the start of the Bingo session.
- Assists in the completion of the Bingo paperwork.
- Assists the bussing window as needed.
- Issues cash prizes to the Floor Sellers for payment to the winning guests.
- Takes cash drops from the Floor Sellers.
- Verifies and counts returned pull-tabs.
- Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration, while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- One year of prior experience as a cashier, teller, or similar position.
- Previous experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, promotions, and/or public relations is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and Internet.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Native American hiring preference applies.
