Essential Job Function:

• Operate and monitor box scale equipment to ensure accurate weight measurements of poultry portions.
• Place finished product boxes onto the scale and adjust contents to meet specified weight targets.
• Apply correct labels and documentation to each box, ensuring traceability and compliance with production orders.
• Record weights, product codes, and lot numbers into production logs or computerized systems.
• Inspect boxes for correct packaging, labeling, and cleanliness.
• Work closely with line workers, quality assurance, and shipping personnel to maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform routine checks on scale functionality and report any malfunctions or irregularities.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., USDA, HACCP, GMP).
• Support other production duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to read and interpret weight specifications and labels.
• Comfortable working in cold, fast-paced environments.
• Good attention to detail and work independently.
• Prior experience in food processing or packaging is helpful but not always required.
