Job Description

Position Title: Quality Technician

Wage: $20.00 - $24.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined and fabricated parts
- Use precision measuring tools including Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges and other inspection equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify non-conforming parts and assist with corrective actions
- Work closely with production, welding, and machining teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures

Requirements for Quality Technician:
- Previous experience in a machine shop, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers and precision measuring tools
- Understanding of tolerances and inspection processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with weldments, structural steel or heavy fabrication preferred
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred
- Prior experience in a job shop environment preferred
