Building Aide Clearcreek Elementary

Under general supervision, monitors study hall classes enabling students to study in a quiet, orderly environment. Monitors lunchroom duties during student lunch times. Reports to the Building Principal.

Duties and Performance Expectations/Essential Functions:

• Supervise students during lunch/recess to ensure students are adhering to the building expectations.
• This position will be a flexible job responsible for the duties assigned by the building administration to best support student supervision within the building during assigned times.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
• Demonstrates positive relationships with students and staff.
• Establishes, as fully as possible, a supportive relationship with students.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• Valid Ohio Student Monitor Certificate (may be obtained after employment prior to start with students).
• Must possess valid Ohio driver's license.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Conditions of Employment:

• Effective Date: ASAP
• Terms of Employment: 186 day contract, $ 17.00/hr (3 hours/day)
• Salary and Fringe Benefits: Based on current negotiated agreement. (9 paid holidays!)
