Building: Transportation Garage Reports to: Transportation Supervisor, Superintendent or designee Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent; CDL w/ Passenger Endorsement Qualifications: FBI / BCI Criminal Background Check Proper CDL credentials; prior experience preferred Current on pre-service and in-service trainings Ability to cope with stressful situations Available to respond appropriately to emergencies Physically capable of safely and appropriately lifting and managing preschool and special needs children, if necessary Flexible schedule; available for extra-curricular trips (day, evening, weekends) Meet all mandated health requirements including negative pre-employment drug test Background records check free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment Participation in drug and alcohol testing as mandated by FMCSA pursuant to 49C.F.R. 382 Complies with drug-free workplace rules and all board policies Current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions Have acceptable references and work record; be neat and presentable in appearance Be dependable and prompt; relates well with children Be able to work with people of all ages; have good attendance record Salary & Benefits: Per current salary schedule, BOSS Negotiated Agreement $20.16-$29.71 Hours: 4 hours per day - 5 days per week Start Date: August 12, 2026 Position Posted: May 6, 2026 Application Deadline: June 3, 2026
