BUS DRIVER – PUPIL TRANSPORATION

Bus Driver - Pupil Transportation

Responsibilities: To transport all students in a safe and efficient manner and perform all activities related to the operation of the school vehicle. Reports to the Transportation Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Commercial Driver's License with the required endorsements. (On-Site Training is available to acquire CDL)
• Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the Board of Education
• Willingness to be trained for and ability to pass applicable MVC tests for driving passengers
• Sufficient mechanical aptitude to diagnose minor problems
• Ability to maintain passenger discipline to ensure their safety and well being, and protect against vandalism
• Reliable person of good moral character, not less than 21 years of age
• Meets physical examination/health requirements, as required by N.J.S.A. 18A:16-2
• Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Salary: 10 month position with terms and conditions established per Board of Education/WMBDA Agreement
