Bus Driver – Sign On Bonus

Job Title

Mahomet-Seymour Transportation Department has a regular route opening. Morning routes are from 6:30 - 8:45 a.m., and afternoon routes are from 2:00/2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Additional trips are available, including daytime field trips, after-school athletic events, and other extracurricular activities. Candidate should be able to assist special needs students as needed. Applicants should possess a high school diploma; any further education or experience in a related field is a plus. Candidate must successfully pass a criminal background check and a bus driver physical. CDL is required, but paid training and additional endorsement reimbursement is available. Salary: Starting rate for the 2025-2026 school year is $20.43 with IMRF. $1,000 sign on bonus available for route drivers with a 2-year commitment to the district.
