Camp Oak Attendant
The Camp Oak Attendant will be responsible for daily activities with children; as well as all other duties assigned by management. This person must have good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Job Functions
- Ensure all parents fill out the registration form for their children correctly, containing the history of the child.
- Create an inventory for all toys / equipment at the club.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and properly maintained.
- Inform Assistant Activities / Camp Oak Supervisor for any need of additional toys or replacement of toys.
- Ensure to follow daily, weekly and monthly activity schedules as instructed by the Camp Oak Supervisor.
- Ensure all clubs' rules and regulations are enforced at all times.
- Maintain club/display clean and tidy club/display at all times. Be fully aware of the club's facilities, timings, promotions and prices.
- Help with daily operations of Kid's Programs, including but not limited to registration and lunch.
- Must create daily children's activities prepping and assuring that crafts are ready for each day.
- Assist with special Holiday activities and other resort family or group activities.
Essential
- Must enjoy working with children.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to stay outdoors in heat/cold for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Possess a positive, outgoing and friendly Personality.
- Ability to follow the OVI standards of Presentation.
- Ability to follow the OVI standards of Body Language.
- Ability to follow the OVI standards of Verbiage.
- Ability to work cohesively with other employees as part of a team.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with parents and children, management and co-workers to their understanding.
- Legal ability to work in the US
- High school graduate.
- Ability to do basic arithmetic.
- Ability to provide legible written communication.
- Ability to work a flexible workweek including weekends and holidays.
Desirable
- At least one year experience working with children.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Previous guest relations training.
