CDL DRIVER – CLASS A OR B – GREENVILLE, SC

Job Description

Client located in Greenville off Pelham Road is in the market for a Class B or Class A CDL Driver

Hours: 8am-4:30pm (M-F)

Pay: $22.00

Qualifications for the CDL(must have!) class B or A:

Steel Toe Shoes Required

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
• If deliveries are slow, must work in the warehouse as needed
• Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse
• Experience using a forklift is required and professional forklift certification is preferred
• Ability to work a somewhat variable shift based on workload each day. Deliveries can run short or long. Must be able to work until the job is done
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures based on weather changes
• Must possess and maintain a CDL license and a valid DOT card

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This is a hands on position. NO "no touch drivers". You will be expected to unload and load your trucks as needed
• Must maintain excellent customer service. They will be the last part of the sale and expected to represent Conklin Metal well
• Maintain a clean and well-organized truck
• Ensure Safety Protocols and Procedures are followed
• Load and secure trucks by DOT and Conklin Metal Standards, ensuring safe transportation of goods that does not damage product.
• Verify that all outgoing orders on your truck are accurate by comparing the invoice to the order pulled and loaded
