CDL Local Truck Driver

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CDL Local Truck Driver role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:

· Operate a 53' tractor/trailer with flat nose cab, dump truck, and yard truck to safely transport raw materials and finished goods.

· Load and unload your own truck while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with company procedures.

· Oversee daily transportation workflow by coordinating deliveries, loading, unloading, storage, and material movement to meet production schedules and plant requirements.

· Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and transportation resources to support efficient plant operations.

· Assume ownership of trucking activities, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate delivery of all goods.

· Monitor transportation and production support activities, troubleshoot delays, and escalate issues when necessary.

· Maintain accurate records including logs (ELD), DVIRs, shipping/receiving paperwork, load documentation, and weights as required.

· Operate all equipment in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and company policies.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Valid CDL Class A driver's license required.

· Forklift certification required.

· Clean driving record and ability to be insured under company policy.

· Current DOT medical card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).

· Minimum of 2 years of tractor/trailer driving experience, including ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.

· Prior experience in shipping/receiving or dock operations preferred.

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

· Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).
